About me

I am a classroom teacher of 16 years turned instructional tech coach

I transform the use of tech in education focusing on big initiatives, teacher training and student outcomes.

Using Google’s challenged-based coaching framework along with Knight and Aguliar best practices, I coach educator’s through challenges in the classroom incorporating tech when appropriate.

After 16 years in the classroom teaching HS English across three states, Communication at the university level as well as Red Cross training, I have combined those experiences and my own passion for transformation tech to support educators in our post COVID world.

What I do

Design professional learning, conduct ongoing trainings to varies group sizes across K-12 connecting pedagogical practices to transformative tech, create tutorial content and work cross-functionally to vision and enact big idea initiatives.

1:1 COaching

Utilizing best practices from Elena Aguilar, Jim Knight, Diane Sweeney, Michael Bungay Stanier, and the Google Challenge-Based Model.

Faciliate Professional Learning

Incorporating best practices from expert sources such as Thomas Guskey, the Learning Forward association, Bright Morning's artful design and facilitation to offer one on one, team, department, site and district wide professional learning opportunities that engage adult learners in ways that positively impact student outcomes.

Provide Tech Training

WIthin the perimeters of the PL best practices, train staff in general tech skills, certifying teachers in Google Workplace, Google Educators levels 1-2, Pear Deck, Flipgrid, Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, Seesaw, Clever, Zoom, Infinite Campus. I also co-teach, model tech in the classroom with students across K-12
